Welcome to the second episode of "ESCAP on air". Both of our guests are professors and experts in the field of Schizophrenia. For this episode we interviewed Professor Christoph Correll and Professor Anne Katrine Pagsberg about the current leading hypetheses explaining schizophrenia as well as the frontiers of treatment. For the first time in several decades, we are getting close to a pharmaceutical alternative to postsynaptic dopamin blockade and we are introduced to these new pharmaceuticals. Professor Christoph Correll is affiliated with Charité University in Berlin and is among the top 1% most cited researchers in psychiatry worldwide across various fields. Professor Anne Katrine Pagsberg works at the University of Copenhagen and is particularly known for her work in researching and implementing treatments for young people with first-episode psychosis through the OPUS program.
