Getting the People Side of Digital Transformation Right

With the continuous acceleration of digital transformation activity and technological change within organizations, the workforce has become key to scaling and sustaining the value of digital investments. In this episode of the Change Exchange, host Kate Morican is joined by Sebastien Gelus, a leader in Deloitte's Human Capital practice who specializes in applying Human-Centered Design approaches to workforce change, particularly in the context of digital transformation. They discuss a refreshed approach to the people side of digital transformation. Using some tangible examples from the field, Sebastien argues that organizations too often jump to trying to redefine their culture for digital without taking the first crucial step - to clearly define what the future of work in a more digital future will look like. Only then can organizations begin to look at the changes in culture, behaviours and mindsets they may need to design around to realize their transformation goals.
